Rev. Kipp McClurg - Pastor
Rev. Kipp McClurg became pastor at Bellevue UMC in January of 2008. He is married to Stephanie and they enjoy investing time in their three sons. Practices, concerts, and homework dominate their list of hobbies. Swimming, traveling, biking, letterboxing (a form of geocaching), eating pizza, and canoeing also make the list.
Kipp assists several churches through Natural Church Development, a process for churches to evaluate and improve their congregational health. Kipp and Stephanie are also involved in the Walk to Emmaus Movement where they serve together in various roles.
Kipp graduated in 1985 from Pinson Valley High School near Birmingham. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Trevecca University in Nashville, TN, his Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, and his Doctor of Ministry from the School of Theology at the University of the South, Sewanee. He has served congregations in Gardendale, Trussville, and Rainsville prior to coming to Bellevue.
Charlie & Staci Gardner - Youth Ministers
After graduating from Hokes Bluff High School in 1985, Charles attended Auburn University. In 1990 he received a Bachelors of Science in Social Science Education. He then pursued his Masters in the same field at the University of Alabama in 1992. By 1994 Charles had received a Class A Certification in School Administration also at the University of Alabama. Four years later he received his Educational Specialist Degree in Education Leadership again at the University of Alabama. During this time Charles taught 8th Grade Georgia History, and 7th and 8th grade Social Studies. He was also the Assistant Principal at Rainbow Middle School before becoming Principal in 1997. In 2004 Charles became the Principal at Southside High School. Charles is a member of the following associations:

Gene Brown - Music Minister
Shortly after graduating from Emma Samson High School in 1976, Gene started working for Gulf States Steel in Gadsden. This is a job that he kept for 24 years until the plant closed in 2000. Gene started working at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in 2001. He has majored in both Mechanical Design and WELD Technology from Gadsden State Community College. Both times he was inducted into the honor society – Phi Theta Kappa.
